On the other hand, a well made pair of glasses can last a long time and feel comfortable all day. For daily use items I try to balance price, build quality and real user feedback. I think this is one of the few real advantages we have compared to shopping blindly.
If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

Comfort around the heel and toes is more important than super fancy design. I have learned to avoid items that look extremely different in every product photo. I am still learning and testing different brands and styles over time. Everyone has different expectations, but real photos and detailed comments are useful for everyone. Bad lenses can cause eye strain, reflections and headache when you wear them for hours. Sometimes I still make mistakes with size, so a friendly exchange policy is very helpful. A good store usually answers questions quickly and does not hide behind canned messages. Online shops that show detailed measurements and care instructions usually get my attention.
Just sharing my personal feedback. |
